Gm, Ford, Honda, Dcx Win Top Awards in Ward’s

General Motors – maker of quality GMC hitch, Ford, Honda and DaimlerChrysler were the proclaimed big winners at the 2007 Ward’s “Interior of the Year” awards during the Ward’s Auto Interiors Show that is being held this week at the Cobo Center in Detroit. From 11 manufacturers, 334 vehicles contended for an “Interior of the Year” award in the yearly competition sponsored by Ward’s AutoWorld magazine.The winners were determined in two ways. The first one is through the two-month review and analysis conducted on the 34 nominated vehicles by Ward’s editorial staff. Ward’s Auto Interior of the Year Nominees Announced

This coming month of June, Ward’s AutoWorld® magazine will be giving out awards to vehicles with the most inviting interior design. The awarding is scheduled to take place at the Cobo Center in Detroit. The distinction will be awarded in connection with the Ward’s Auto Interior Show which will run from June 6 to 7 this year.In connection with that, Ward’s has announced the 34 nominees for the award in seven different categories. The 34 cars came from eleven car manufacturers and, surprisingly, no Audi vehicle made it to the short list.For the economy-priced car category, small cars priced under $17,000 and released for the 2007 model year are considered by the award giving body.
